Verbier, Switzerland

Sauze d’Oulx, Italy

Sauze d’Oulx combines enjoyable skiing with a friendly, good-value atmosphere — perfect for sociable groups. Part of the Milky Way ski area, it offers excellent intermediate terrain, tree-lined pistes and long cruising runs. The village has an appealing blend of tradition and energy, with welcoming bars and restaurants that create a relaxed après-ski scene. Accommodation is often more affordable than in France or Switzerland, and the area benefits from reliable sunshine. While experts have fewer challenges, Sauze d’Oulx is excellent for groups wanting accessible skiing, characterful nightlife and great value.
